WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL, GFHS STUDENTS!
If you did not receive a schedule in the mail, or were not able to login to Parent Portal, please report to the guidance office to get your schedule.
 
Visitor Parking & Late Students
Visitor Parking is located on the baseball side of the school. There are special spots indicated for school visitors. All visitors, as well as late students, must enter through door #1 by the front office.





 
Student Parking Permits
All students who drive to Gar-Field High School must have a valid parking permit on the vehicle.  The cost of the parking permit is $100.00.  To obtain a parking permit, fill out the Student Parking Permit Application and bring the completed form to the Security Office. The deadline is September 30.

Fall Sports - Tryout Information

All interested student-athletes are required to maintain academic eligibility, complete Concussion Training, and submit a completed VHSL Physical to the Activities Office prior to participation. Please direct all questions to Mr. Michael Payne, Director of Student Activities at payneme@pwcs.edu or 703.730.7112.

Follow Gar-Field's IB Program Trip to England
Students and teachers are off to the United Kingdom to visit the Royal Wootton Bassett School in Wiltshire. The visit will run from June 19th through June 28th.  Follow events from our trip on Twitter by following us - http://www.twitter.com/IBatGFcom

Graduation Ceremony on TV
PWCS-TV (Comcast Channel 18 and Verizon FiOS Channel 36) will air most PWCS 2015 high school graduation ceremonies during the summer months. These airings give graduates, friends, and families a second opportunity to view the big event from the comfort of their own home.  Airings will take place at 5:30 p.m. on the following dates and will also be available via Video On Demand after the first listed airing date.  Go to http://pwcstv.com/show.php?id=4 and scroll through the episodes to find the graduation ceremony you are interested in viewing.

Check Cashing Policy
We welcome your checks at Gar-Field High School.  However, if your check is returned for any reason, we will electronically present it to your bank for the face value plus a $35.00 processing fee.  Any protest or bad check return fee charged by your financial institution, and all other charges, interest, and attorney's fees are your responsibility. This action will be taken without further notice.  We reserve the right to decline your check.
